August Experience '07 Schedule
The dates for August Experience '08 are Sunday August 24 - Sunday August 31. It is an orientation program designed to help you with the transition to college-level work and introduce you to living as a member of the Hanover College community. Throughout the week you will participate in a variety of programs including a small group discussion with a faculty member about the common reading, a class wide service project, various social events and much more.
Here's what the Class of 2010 listed as highlights of the August Experience:
- Spending time with hall mates, making friends, getting acclimated to area.
- Meeting people and getting to know them without class work at the same time.
- I enjoyed the picnic at the park, the progressive dinner, and the senate platforms.
- I enjoyed the class service project because it got us off campus and we could see parts of our community.
Below are pictures of students enjoying the
All Campus Picnic & Carnival at the conclusion of the August Experience '07.
