Alpha Delta Pi. First. Finest. Forever. Since 1851.
At Alpha Delta Pi our motto is "we live for each other." Alpha Delta Pi invented the sorority with its founding in 1851, and our values— leadership, scholarship, sisterhood, and service— have not changed in over 150 years. Each member of our sorority is supported by her fellow sisters wherever she goes or whatever she does. Our sisters are campus leaders and highly involved on campus, from Student Government to Hanover College 's theatre department to the softball field to organizing service projects and fundraisers. Alpha Delta Pi is a diverse group of high achieving women. We are proud to say that our house GPA is a 3.2 and that we have several members involved in scholastic and honors organizations such as Mortar Board, Alpha Lambda Delta, and the Dean's List. Our chapter also participates in several philanthropic events each semester to support The Ronald McDonald House (our national philanthropy). Phi Chapter alone donated over 3 million pop tabs to RMH just last year. We sponsor two annual events, Lion's Den and ADPi Fantasy Guy, to raise money and awareness for RMH and sponsor an annual Pop Tab Drive every fall. We participate in several other service projects as well, such as adopting the local unit of the National Guard, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and participating in Hanover College 's Relay for Life. We often team up with other Greek Houses to support our philanthropies and the women of Alpha Delta Pi are always willing to lend a hand to help support other organizations' many worthy causes. When we aren't busy studying or participating in extra-curricular activities, ADPis are having fun! Whether it's our weekly gathering in the living room to watch The Office or Grey's Anatomy or going on Grab-a-Date outings or Pride Sisterhood events, Alpha Delta Pi's enjoy the company of their sisters. Sisterhood is what a sorority is all about, and Alpha Delta Pi creates lifelong friendships and close sisterly bonds. Alpha Delta Pi is a home away from home and a second family for all of us. This close friendship in our House is more than just a friendly bond; it's the love and loyalty of sisterhood.
