Student Organizations

Hanover College is home to 61 registered student organizations. Student organizations span a wide variety of interests. Each organization is student run and organized. Involvement in student organizations allows you to gain a great deal of practical experience in working with meetings and events, facilitating change on campus and creating a campus you want to call home.

Student Organizations at Hanover College are an ever changing group. You can even create your own new student organization. The process for STARTING A NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION allows our roster of groups to change with the interests of the student body.

Annual Student Organization Registration
occurs each Fall and when there is a change in leadership. Follow the links below to complete your annual registration.

Funding for Student Organizations comes through Student Senate. The Senate committee that spearheads budget events is called SABC - Student Activities Budgeting Committee. SABC is comprised of seven (7) students who work to allocate funds through Swept Funds (for registered organizations) or Start-up grants (for newly forming organizations) and the full budget process for all registered student organizations.

Additional Opportunities
Hanover College's Student Organizations are vital to community life on campus; however, the possibilities of learning outside the classroom do not end here. Students interested in participating in the arts are encouraged to contact the theatre, choral, instrumental, and art departments to receive more information about their programs. Those desiring to be active in sports, but not on the varsity level are urged to participate in the Intramural program. Below you will find the links to individual websites for these areas.
